London School of Economics

The German Economic Institute (IW) is a member of an international consortium of institutes and universities advising the European Parliament on trade policy issues.

The consortium is led by the London School of Economics (LSE). Other members include the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) and the Universities of Maastricht and Parma. The European Parliament commissions studies from the consortium on such topics as TTIP and other free trade agreements involving the European Union.
