The German Economic Institute is part of a network of the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound).
For the German contribution, the IW’s researchers work with our consortium partners, the Institute of Economic and Social Research in the Hans Böckler Foundation (WSI), to produce studies on the German economy. Eurofound's print and online publications address government, employers’ and workers’ representatives at the national and European level.
- The European Observatory of Working Life (EurWORK) deals with current developments in the labour market and analyses wage policy and trends in industrial relations. The analyses also focus on such topics as equal opportunities, migration, health at work and workers’ employability.
- The European Restructuring Monitor (ERM) is concerned with structural change in European companies and maintains a database containing selected case studies.
