REHADAT, a leading information system for vocational rehabilitation created and maintained by the German Economic Insitute (IW), is a member of EASTIN, the European network on aids for the disabled.

The European Assistive Technology Information Network (EASTIN) brings together European projects and organisations which research, advise and provide information on assistive technologies for the disabled. EASTIN facilitates an exchange of information, promotes the development of uniform information standards and maintains a joint website. Here users can search databases for products, manufacturers and supplementary information in all languages of the European Union, thus creating transparency for customers with special information needs and enabling manufacturers and distributors to offer their products through a single one-stop platform. REHADAT, a project of the German Economic Insitute (IW), contributes to the EASTIN network both its expertise and the most comprehensive overview of the German market for assistive technologies.
