AI@Work

With the AI@WORK - EEI project, the German Economic Institute (IW) is participating in a new European initiative for the successful and responsible integration of artificial intelligence into the world of work. The aim of the project is to conduct a thorough analysis of the impact of artificial intelligence on employers and employees. The initiative examines key opportunities and challenges for companies and provides valuable insights into the current use of AI – for employers' associations, trade unions, and policymakers.
The focus is on AI systems that are used to support human resource management, increase productivity and competitiveness, and address the shortage of skilled workers. Together with the European employers' association CEEMET, the ifaa, and the newly founded European Employers’ Institute (EEI) the IW is contributing its expertise to the project work.
