D A CH-Reformbarometer

D A CH-Reformbarometer

The D A CH-Reformbarometer compiled by the German Economic Institute (IW), the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO) and the think tank Avenir Suisse assesses the extent to which political reforms in Germany (D), Austria (A) and Switzerland (CH) change the business climate in their respective countries.

The D A CH Reformbarometer evaluates the success of reforms initiated by the Berlin, Vienna and Berne governments in creating a legal and regulatory framework conducive to economic growth. The Barometer was established in September 2002 to monitor labour market, social and fiscal policy and since January 2011 has also assessed changes in education, competition, infrastructure and innovation policy and financial market regulation. The Reformbarometer thus provides a sound basis for the discussion of ideas for reform.
