The joint project “Chancen erarbeiten – Alphabetisierung und Grundbildung für Erwachsene” (“To develop chances – literacy and basic education for adults”) which is promoted by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research aims to accelerate the reintegration of low qualified labour in the job market. Together with partners, the Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft Köln explores and develops qualification means concerning basic education and employability e.g. for on-the-job training and external further education.
