Brussels Liaison Office
The primary concern of the Cologne Institute for Economic Research is to ensure a good business climate for German business. Increasingly, however, the rules affecting German companies are made in Brussels. For this reason, the Institute maintains a Liaison Office at the seat of both the EU Commission and the EU Parliament. It is located in the building of IHK Nord in the Avenue des Arts. Since 1992 the Institute has been disseminating its research results among the staff of the EU institutions and the companies and business associations with offices in Brussels Twice a year the Institute invites interested parties to a lunchtime workshop at the EU Office of the State of Lower Saxony.
